i -act for positive mental health and WELLbeing
The evidence-based i -act for positive mental health and WELLbeing model and tools were first developed in 2016 and have since been adopted by many organisations across the UK. The i -act model and tool have been designed by leading chartered psychologists and mental health professionals in the field; they are evidence-based courses which have been independently accredited by The Royal College of Psychiatrists.
i -act is systematically reviewed every 3 years and can be delivered anywhere in the UK and around the world.
As you can see, each letter of i -act refers to a different part of the plan.

The i -act model maintains a focus on common mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression, and also addresses how we might improve wellbeing in order to build resilience.
The i -act model gives practical guidance and tools for how we might improve our own mental health and wellbeing and support others who may have a mental health or wellbeing issue. It informs participants as to what they need to know and offers tools for addressing and improving mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Understanding and Promoting Positive Mental Health and WELLbeing
This i‑act training is aimed at supporting employees to improve their workplace wellbeing, and support others who may experience a mental health or wellbeing issue.
The i‑act course comes with a 156-page evidence-based course manual, toolkit and resource pack (pictured left) for each participant.

Managing and Promoting Positive Mental Health and WELLbeing
The i‑act course for managers is aimed at supporting managers to improve workplace wellbeing and support employees who may experience a mental health or wellbeing issue in the workplace.
The i‑act course comes with a 168-page evidence-based course manual, toolkit and resource pack (pictured left) for each manager.
The i‑act manual includes over 50 tools to support managers and over 95 agencies/organisations to refer on to. The evidence-based i‑act course and manual cites over 225 pieces of reputable references, researched by leading academics in the field working at Doctorate level.
