Who are L.E.TS......

We are a family run buisness who were established in 2023 by Darren, Our Co-Owner and Instructor.

Darren has a profound understanding of the silent battles many face in relation to mental health. Having lived with undiagnosed depression and anxiety for several years, Darren experienced the deep-rooted stigma that often surrounds these conditions. He found himself trapped in a cycle of shame and guilt, hesitant to seek the support he desperately needed.

Recognising the absence of genuine support for those grappling with similar challenges, Darren decided to create a safe space for individuals to explore their mental health without fear of judgement.

At our core, we believe that understanding and compassion are fundamental to healing. By sharing his story and creating a platform for open discussion, Darren aims to inspire others to seek help and to foster a culture of acceptance surrounding mental health issues. Together, we can work towards a future where mental well-being is prioritised, and stigma is a thing of the past.

Our mission is to break down the barriers associated with mental illness and provide accessible resources and a supportive community for those in need.

Why Invest in workplace wellbeing

Investing in mental health training within the workplace is a crucial step towards fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. By equipping employees with the tools and knowledge to address mental health challenges, organisations can significantly reduce the stigma surrounding these issues. This proactive approach not only benefits individual team members but also enhances overall workplace morale.

Furthermore, by prioritising mental health, companies can effectively reduce absenteeism and presenteeism, two factors that can lead to a decrease in productivity. When employees feel supported and understood, they are more likely to engage fully in their work, thus translating to better performance and fewer days lost to mental health concerns. The result is a healthier work culture that promotes well-being and commitment.

Ultimately, investing in mental health training can play a pivotal role in reducing staff turnover. Employees who feel valued and supported are more likely to remain loyal to their organisation. By creating an atmosphere that prioritises mental well-being, businesses can cultivate a dedicated workforce, leading to long-term success and stability.
